The existing route proposal

The existing route proposal can be seen on the attached folder and on the GPX tracks,

we will be glad about your opinion, which you can communicate through:

Since we are aware that it is not wise to build new hiking trails, as our hikers find it difficult to find enough time, money and other resources to maintain existing trails, our goal is for k5HIKE.EU to run mostly along existing trails.

YOUR SUGESTION FOR K5 HIKE ROUTE:

There’s still time to submit your suggestion as to why it would be better for the route to go elsewhere than our team has suggested. We ask for alternative route proposals that will present the following advantages:   


  • - on the second route there are several existing organized hiking trails (thematic, mountain, walking trails...)
  • - the trail runs through terrain that is more hiker-friendly (fewer kilometers on asphalt),
  • - there are more natural, cultural and other attractions on the trail
  • the trail runs on terrain where sustainable tourism development will take place in the short term and at the same time no industrial development is foreseen
  • - there are mountain, tourist and other organizations in the vicinity of the alternative route with sufficient personnel, financial and other capital, which will be ready to take care of this route.
